The Valley at Frutig Farms

Amelia & Jeff

Deep plum and burgundy blooms, lush specialty garden roses, oodles of berries and scabiosa pods, and lots of gorgeous foliage filled Amelia’s wedding bouquet. And the rich navy bridesmaids dresses were just the most perfect backdrop for this color combo!  This wedding arch design was a true favorite this year and those king protea were the best finishing touch.  Love the light captured so beautifully by First Comes Love Photo.

This wedding, though! It was graceful and elegant but also so incredibly laid back and natural. Full of all of my favorite floral elements. For Elizabeth’s flowers, we were looking to create a soft vintage and rustic vibe. She wanted creams, whites, succulents and lots of cool textural elements. We were so thrilled to have the prettiest cafe au lait dahlias, pale lavender echevaria succulents (which played so well with the bridesmaids’ dresses), green hellebore, amazing ranunculus, matthiola, astrantia, scabiosa, privet berry and eucalyptus for her bridal bouquet. Flowers throughout the venue had a woodland vibe with even a bit of magnolia (a family favorite) added in.

It was a joy to work on this crisp white wedding for Jamie and Matt! I was absolutely thrilled to have the prettiest of peonies and spirea to add to the wedding arch!  Jamie wanted succulents especially, so we tucked a few in her bridal bouquet and then throughout the reception tables.  Reception tables had either a floral centerpiece in beautiful mercury glass or a pillar candle trio surrounded by mixed foliage and succulents.  I love being able to spice up the room using two or even three different styles of centerpieces- the overall effect is enchanting!

What a bright and perfect August summer day.  I was so happy to be a part of Erica and Jason’s wedding!  Erica chose a fabulous jewel toned palette for her wedding flowers and especially wanted orchids in the mix.  The bright magenta and burgundy dahlias, blue delphinium, and purple matthiola and dendrobium orchids were such a lovely combination!

This wedding was lavender- plum-burgundy heaven!  I loved everything about these blooms… it’s hard to know where to start!  Amnesia and Miyuki garden roses cradled by hellebore in all shades of purple with sweet lilac and burgundy ranunculus as the finishing touches.  The fragrance in the studio for this one was amazing.
